The Capt'n Groovy show features authentic 1970's effects like (depending on availability) fog machines, strobe lights, and a disco ball.  The show is even more supercharged by the band's classic choreographed dance moves, dressed in their authentic matching Motown style outfits.  Although Capt'n Groovy's music is mainly targeted toward the age group that grew up in the 1970's, their show nevertheless, appeals to audiences of all ages.

The instrumentation that makes up this super group consists of: trap set drums, hand percussion, keyboard synthesizer, electric guitars, bass guitar, violins, trumpets, trombone, saxophones and four lead vocalists (two male and two female).  "The gender mix, age range and ethnic blend of this group is truly wonderful."  - C.W. Goetz (founder/leader)
