Capt'n Groovy is the completely authentic 1970's retro group that everyone has been talking about.  Since 2006, Capt'n Groovy has been entertaining crowds of up to 5000 people per show throughout the midwest.

Capt'n Groovy is a 20-piece pop-orchestra that is also available in a 12-piece configuration.  In addition, two professional dancers who come from various parts of north central, eastern, & northern Illinois round out the ensemble.

Many of the Pop, Easy listening and Disco hits from the 1970's included a variety of orchestral instruments on the original recordings (i.e. horns and violins).  It is for this reason Capt'n Groovy is a sizable group.  However, no other band even comes close to the incredible accuracy and authenticity that this group delivers.  And after all, that's what it's all about, ENTERTAINMENT!
